We always encourage green practices! Terrazzo floors are very green in and of themselves. They emit no VOC’s (volatile organic compounds), they do not harbor dust mites or mold, and they are made of natural materials. So if you have terrazzo floors, you’re already on the green path!
In order to maintain your terrazzo, marble or granite floors, it is important to use non-toxic, neutral floor cleaners- neither alkaline nor base. This will not only preservethe floor itsel, but using neutralzers to clean will help to keep your home chemical free.
